Review by hotel critic
I recently had the opportunity to stay at Old Mill during a corporate retreat, and I must say, it's an interesting choice for business travelers. The location is quite convenient, with ample free parking, which is always a bonus when you're juggling meetings and presentations. Upon arrival, the staff at reception were notably friendly, ready to assist with any queries. It's refreshing to receive that kind of attention without it feeling forced. The internet in the rooms worked well, allowing me to catch up on emails without hassle - essential for remote work. I found the lounge area quite comfortable for informal meetings. The bar offered a decent selection, which made unwinding after a long day of discussions quite pleasant. As for the accommodations, my room was clean and had a comfy bed, although I did notice it could benefit from some updating-perhaps a more modern shower setup might be in order? All in all, Old Mill merges convenience with a touch of history, making it suitable as a corporate retreat while allowing you to relax and recharge amidst your business endeavors.
